Given a single SRange, find peaks that overlap For intersecting ranges, you can stop after a while if you have a sorted set and only want those that are intersecting.
This is not finding the actual intersecting positions. It is identifying any ranges that have an overlap of any kind with the given "peak".
returns a Set of Ranges from the searchSpace that overlap the "peak" range
